Peace of mind with the Halo 10 Year Guarantee
All residential builds completed by DEC Construction come protected with Halo – the country’s most thorough 10-year residential building guarantee. As an NZCB member, any residential new build, renovation, refurbishment, or extension carried out by DEC Construction is protected. The Halo 10-year residential building guarantee is only available to member of the NZCB.
If something happens to your builder during your project, your investment is protected. Additionally, if you decide to sell your home within the 10 years, this guarantee passes on to the new homeowner. Loss of deposit, additional costs to complete the dwelling, structural defects for 10 years including weather tightness, non-structural defects for ten years and alternative accommodation requirements are all covered under Halo.
